Skoda Updates Slavia Sedan in India with 8-Speed Automatic Transmission and Rear Seat Massage
Skoda has revealed an updated version of the Slavia sedan in India, which is based on the Volkswagen Virtus platform. The updated model features a refined design, new engine options, and additional comfort features.

The updated Slavia is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform and is developed and produced locally in India. It is one of the best-selling sedans in its segment, with nearly 80,000 units sold to date.
The updated model features a refined design, including new LED headlights and redesigned LED taillights. It also gains an 8-speed automatic transmission for the 1.0 TSI engine and a rear seat massage function.
The Skoda Slavia is exported to growing markets, including Vietnam, the Middle East, and Africa. It competes in a more refined segment than the Volkswagen Virtus.
In addition to the new features, the Slavia also gains improved connectivity through a multimedia system with a virtual assistant based on Google Cloud's Automotive AI Agent technology.
New lightweight alloy wheel designs and new interior color options have also been introduced.
The popular Monte Carlo version is available since launch, featuring a two-tone exterior paint, black exterior details, and a Monte Carlo emblem.
The Slavia's mechanical options include a 1.0 TSI engine with a 6-speed manual transmission, as well as a 1.5 TSI engine with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and rear disc brakes.
The sedan also features a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and a 10.25-inch digital cluster.
The updated Slavia has achieved a 5-star rating in the Global NCAP crash tests, reflecting its robust engineering and high level of safety.
The updated Slavia also features additional convenience features, including a rear wiper, automatic headlights, electrochromic rearview mirror, and anti-glare external rearview mirrors.
