This NSX's history is deeply intertwined with the driver. Senna tested a prototype of the car and reportedly told Honda engineers the chassis felt "a little fragile." Honda took his advice, stiffening the production car's frame by 50 percent. In 1991, the year he won his third world title, Honda gave Senna personal use of this specific NSX in Portugal.
