By the 1960s, its range included the Silver Knight, Gold Knight, and Black Knight models. These trucks typically used an Atkinson-designed chassis frame, a Gardner diesel engine, a David Brown gearbox, and Kirkstall rear axles. The Gardner 6LX diesel, introduced in 1958, was a common choice, producing 150 horsepower.
