Design parallels with Ferrari Purosangue
The Luxeed RX shares key dimensions and visual cues with the Ferrari Purosangue. Both vehicles have a wheelbase of 3 meters and a width of approximately 2 meters. Visual similarities include the body shape, coupe roofline, and rear wheel arch curvature.
The Luxeed RX is 5.02 meters long, while the Ferrari Purosangue measures 4.97 meters. Headlights and taillights differ, with the Ferrari having a more aggressive design.
Technology and interior features
The interior is tech-forward, featuring extensive ambient lighting on the dashboard and doors. It includes three screens: an instrument cluster, a central multimedia display, and a passenger screen.
A roof-mounted Lidar indicates an advanced driver-assistance system package of Level 2 or higher. The cabin also includes a streaming rear-view mirror and cameras that perform the same function as traditional mirrors.
Performance, pricing and market positioning
The SUV offers rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, with the dual-motor version producing 586 cv. Buyers can choose from three battery options, with a claimed CLTC range of up to 852 km.
The base Luxeed RX Max version costs 259,800 yuan, which represents 5.21% of the Ferrari Purosangue's price of 4,988,000 yuan. The top-spec model is priced at 389,800 yuan, approximately 7.8% of the Purosangue's cost.
